The Heavy Machine Spotter will be responsible for monitoring the use of heavy machinery at the marina. The Heavy Machine Spotter will promote safety and ensure the highest standards for quality and productivity.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Monitor and control heavy equipment and machinery on the construction site Ensure all company safety policies and guidelines are followed Record and report all problems, delays, and malfunctions Work closely with the operators to resolve any mechanical issues Troubleshoot and repair breakdowns and malfunctions of the equipment Perform routine maintenance and preventive checks of the equipment Report any incidents or safety issues to the safety officers Liaise with contractors and suppliers regarding the operations and maintenance of the heavy machinery
REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma or equivalent Previous experience in a heavy equipment spotting preferred. A valid Department of Transportation (DOT) driver’s license Ability to work in a physically demanding environment Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
