Heavy Equipment Operator Site Worx Construction 8545 E Hwy 25, Belleview, FL 34420 Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Equipment Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 3 years’ experience operating various types of heavy machinery and a strong understanding of safety protocols. This role is essential for ensuring the efficient operation of equipment on job sites, contributing to the successful completion of projects in a timely manner. We are a full site development company, from underground to building. Responsibilities Operate heavy equipment such as bulldozers, front loaders, backhoes, and cranes safely and efficiently. •This will require you to do hand work when necessary.•Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance. Collaborate with team members to execute tasks related to construction, excavation, or material handling. Follow safety guidelines and protocols to maintain a safe working environment. Assist in the setup and teardown of equipment at job sites. Communicate effectively with supervisors and other team members regarding project progress and any issues that arise. Maintain accurate records of equipment usage and maintenance. Requirements Proven experience in heavy equipment operation, including but not limited to bulldozers, concrete mixers, farm machinery, front loader trucks, loaders, backhoes, and many other types of heavy equipment. Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and perform basic repairs on equipment. Must be able to read blueprints. Self-motivated. Valid commercial driving license (CDL) is preferred but not required. Ability to work in various weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety practices. Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment.
