Heavy Equipment Operator Position Available In Marion, Florida

Heavy Equipment Operator Central Florida Civil Summerfield, FL 34491 Experienced Equipment Operators needed for local sitework contractor with jobsites located in and around Marion County. Experienced Operators will have the ability to safely and proficiently operate several types of equipment eg. (Motor Grader, Bulldozers, Frontend Loaders, Backhoe/Trackhoe, Rollers, & Mixer). Minimum of 1 year of experience in the field is needed. Must be 18 or older and have transportation to the job site. Valid FL Driver’s License is preferred, to operate a company vehicle when needed.

Duties:

Operators are responsible for monitoring gauges and indicators on their equipment and conducting daily equipment inspections. May assist with maintenance and repair of equipment as needed. Responsible for the safe and precise performance of your machine as directed by management and per project plans and drawings. Must have the ability to understand and carryout verbal and/or written instructions. Ability to read grade stakes and follow site grading plan. Ability to read and understand job site plans is a plus. Flexibility to assist ground crew when needed. Will observe and comply with safety rules. Must be able to work independently as well as part of the team. Following your work schedule and complying with the attendance policy is essential. Must be able to work in the elements.
