The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating excavators and other heavy machinery to perform various tasks on construction sites. This role requires a strong understanding of equipment operation, safety protocols, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. The Excavator Operator will play a crucial role in ensuring projects are completed efficiently and safely. Responsibilities Operate excavators and other heavy machinery, including backhoes, to perform excavation tasks. Execute horizontal drilling operations as required for utility installation or site preparation. Collaborate with team members to ensure that all excavation work aligns with project specifications and safety standards. Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance. Load and unload materials using dump trucks as needed.
