Job Description

FORMAN/ HEAVY EQUIPMENT OPERATOR

Camcor Site LLC Saint Cloud, FL 34769 Overview We are seeking a Dirt Forman/Equipment Operator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction and be proficient in operating various types of heavy machinery. This role is crucial for leading a crew of workers and keeping job site on schedule, contributing to the successful completion of projects. Duties Managing a crew and job site while still operating heavy equipment. Reading civil plans and checking grades on site. Must have experience of clearing trees, burning trees, demo, and mass grading job site. Operate heavy equipment including excavators, bulldozers, and loaders on construction sites. Collaborate with project managers and site supervisors to ensure project specifications are met. Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance. Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment. Assist in the preparation of construction sites by clearing obstacles and preparing surfaces for building. Maintain accurate records of equipment usage and site progress. Experience Must have a clean driving record with a good driver license. Proven experience as an Equipment Operator in the site development. Must have experience with setting up and using laser to check grades. Must have experience reading and understanding civil plans. Must keep the job site moving forward and meeting on schedule. Must be able to communicate with Supervisors on a daily tasks. Experience with quality control processes on construction sites. Ability to work effectively in a team environment while also being self-motivated. Strong understanding of safety regulations related to heavy machinery operation.
