Job Description
Heavy Equipment Operator 3.4 3.4 out of 5 stars Tarpon Springs, FL 34689 Superior Skilled Trades is looking for experienced operators to work with Water Trucks, Haul Trucks, Rollers, and Loaders in Holiday, FL for immediate work.
Responsibilities:
Operate and drive water trucks of various sizes safely and efficiently. Transport and deliver water to designated locations according to schedules and instructions. Apply water for dust control on construction sites, roadways, and other areas as needed. Utilize water for soil compaction to prepare surfaces for construction or landscaping. Operate spray nozzles and other equipment to distribute water effectively for different applications. Fill the water truck tank from approved water sources, ensuring proper procedures are followed. Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the water truck, including checking fluid levels, tires, brakes, and other components.
Requirements:
Proven experience of at least 3 years operating water trucks Ability to read and understand maps, directions, and site plans. Knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance and safety procedures. Ability to perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections thoroughly. Physical ability to climb in and out of the truck, handle hoses, and perform basic maintenance tasks. Drug screen required
