Varies based on business demand; schedule may include nights and weekends As a Utility Crew Operator at First Environmental, you’ll play a critical role in supporting pipe installations and sitework by operating a variety of heavy equipment. You’ll work under the guidance of the Foreman, contributing to the success of the team and the company’s mission: to fix our customers’ problems and make them happy. Requirements Acceptable past work history Acceptable security background record Acceptable driving record (as reviewed by insurance provider) Pass pre-employment physical exam, including DOT physical Pass drug and alcohol screening Ability to lift 75 lbs. repeatedly Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, reach, stand, and lift repeatedly Proficient in operating heavy equipment safely and effectively Willingness to assist with physical labor and pipe installation Ability to follow directions, work collaboratively, and communicate clearly Self-starter with a strong work ethic and positive attitude Ability to understand and demonstrate safety training requirements Duties / Responsibilities Safely and efficiently operate heavy equipment such as: Excavators Front-end loaders Backhoes Dozers Vibratory rollers Assist with pipe laying and other sitework Follow instructions from the Foreman and support the crew Maintain a safe, clean, and organized job site Contribute to the team’s success through hard work and reliability Compensation Hourly, non-exempt pay structure Overtime opportunities based on workload Competitive compensation based on experience Benefits package available (details shared upon hiring)
