Heavy Equipment Operator

• Septic Service & Installation ($26
• 30/hr + OT Available) This isn’t your typical operator job.

We’re looking for a heavy equipment operator who can run an excavator and skid steer like a pro — and who’s not afraid to get out of the cab and work when needed. We install and service septic systems, and this is a physical, hands-on position , not just a sit-and-drive job.

Responsibilities:

Operate excavators, skid steers, and other heavy equipment for septic system installs and repairs Perform safe, efficient trenching, digging, grading, and backfilling Assist with labor tasks when needed (yes, sometimes you’ll hop out and grab a shovel) Conduct daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance Load and unload materials and equipment Follow job site layouts, plans, and instructions from supervisors Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site Follow all safety procedures and wear proper PPE at all times

Work Hours:

Regular hours are 8 AM

• 5 PM , but we work until the job is done — overtime is common and expected

Requirements:

Skilled in operating excavators and skid steers Must be physically fit and willing to work outdoors in all weather conditions (heat, rain, cold) Clean driving record with valid driver’s license (CDL is a plus) Must pass a pre-employment drug test Ability to lift 50+ lbs regularly Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and team mentality Basic understanding of grades, elevations, and reading site plans is a plus Septic system installation experience is highly preferred
