Auction Yard Assistant Position Available In Decatur, Georgia

Auction Yard Assistant Merit Auctions Bainbridge, GA 39817 Merit Auctions is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Auction Yard Assistant to join our team. The Auction Yard Assistant will be responsible for day-to-day operations at Auction Yard including facilitating and inventorying farm equipment, trucks and trailers, construction equipment, and more. This position requires excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively. This is a full-time position at our Fort Madison, IA location.

Job Duties:

Coordinates with Auction Yard team Assist with equipment clean up, staging and prepping Picture and video equipment being sold at auction Assist with load out of equipment Assist with breakdown and set up of equipment Engage with customers in a professional manner And other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

Ability to lift items weighing up to 75 lbs. High School diploma or equivalent experience Basic mechanical skills Ability to operate farm and construction machinery, including a skid loader, wheel loader and telehandler Valid Drivers’ License/CDL preferred Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
