Hydrovac Operator Southeastern Hydrovac Fayetteville, GA 30214 Overview We are seeking a skilled Hydrovac Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating hydrovac trucks and equipment to safely excavate and expose underground utilities. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical operations and the ability to work in various outdoor environments. The Hydrovac Operator plays a crucial role in ensuring that excavation projects are completed efficiently and safely. Duties Operate hydrovac trucks and related equipment for excavation tasks. Safely dig around utilities to expose underground lines without causing damage. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of equipment to ensure safety and functionality. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area and equipment. Collaborate with team members to plan excavation projects effectively. Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor issues with equipment during operations. Follow all safety protocols and regulations while on site. Skills Proven experience in commercial driving, with a valid driver’s license. Strong mechanical knowledge for equipment maintenance and troubleshooting. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while performing physical tasks such as digging and building. Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and project managers. Commitment to safety practices and procedures in all aspects of work.
