Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a skilled Excavator/Crane Operator with hands-on experience in the scrap metal recycling industry. The ideal candidate will have solid experience operating heavy equipment, particularly excavators and cranes with bucket grapples and magnets .

Key Responsibilities:

Safely and efficiently operate excavators and material handler cranes equipped with grapples and magnets. Load and unload scrap materials from trucks and railcars. Sort, move, and organize metal materials for processing. Conduct daily inspections and perform basic maintenance on equipment. Follow all safety protocols and company procedures. Communicate clearly with team members and supervisors.

Requirements:

Minimum 2 years of experience operating heavy equipment in a scrap/recycling or similar environment. Proficient with bucket grapples and magnet attachments. Strong understanding of safety procedures in industrial settings. Ability to work in a fast-paced, outdoor environment. Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented. Valid operator certifications preferred (but not required).
