Heavy Equipment Operators-Mining 3.2 3.2 out of 5 stars Thomson, GA 30824 Overview We are seeking a skilled heavy equipment Operators. The ideal candidates understand mining operation and have impressive seat time in each machine. This is more than just getting on the equipment, understanding the project process is a must! Responsibilities Operate excavators and other heavy equipment for digging, grading, and site preparation. Utilize loader operation skills to move materials efficiently around the site. Dig trenches, holes, or foundations according to project specifications. Conduct routine maintenance checks on equipment to ensure optimal performance. Collaborate with team members to coordinate tasks and maintain a safe work environment. Skills Proficient in operating heavy equipment in an efficient manner, with a solid understanding of excavation and dozer techniques. Competence in backhoe operation for various mining applications. Skilled in loader operation for effective material handling on-site. Some mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting and maintaining equipment functionality.
