Heavy Equipment Operator Jarrett Phillips Construction Toccoa, GA 30577 Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Equipment Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating various types of heavy machinery and equipment in a safe and efficient manner. This role requires a strong understanding of equipment operations, maintenance, and safety protocols to ensure smooth operations on-site. Responsibilities Operate heavy equipment such as loaders, dump trucks, tankers, and cranes to complete various tasks. Perform routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance. Safely transport materials using water trucks and front loader trucks as needed. Execute digging operations with precision while adhering to safety guidelines. Collaborate with team members to coordinate tasks and ensure project timelines are met. Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all equipment is stored properly after use. Follow all safety protocols and regulations while operating machinery on-site. Qualifications Proven experience in heavy equipment operation, including but not limited to loaders, dump trucks, tankers, and cranes. Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and farm machinery is preferred. Ability to perform basic maintenance on equipment and troubleshoot operational issues. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to safety practices. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Valid driver’s license required; commercial driving certification is a plus. Previous experience in similar roles will be considered an advantage. $18.00 – $25.00 per hour Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
Schedule:
8 hour shift Monday to Friday Overtime Weekends as needed
