Position Overview:
We are looking for a skilled Operator for our Heavy Civil division. The ideal candidate will have experience operating heavy construction equipment on large-scale civil projects. This position requires extensive travel to project sites across different locations.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate heavy civil construction equipment such as excavators, bulldozers, loaders, and graders. Perform tasks related to excavation, grading, trenching, and other heavy civil operations. Ensure the work meets the required specifications and tolerances. Perform routine maintenance checks and minor repairs on equipment. Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and grade stakes. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other team members to ensure project goals are met. Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols to maintain a safe work environment. Travel extensively to various project sites as required.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Heavy Civil Operator in the construction industry. Proficiency in operating various heavy civil construction equipment. Ability to read and interpret construction plans and grade stakes. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. Willingness and ability to travel extensively for projects. Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
