Job Overview:
Seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Construction Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience operating a variety of heavy machinery, ensuring efficiency, safety, and precision in construction projects.
Responsibilities:
Maneuver and manipulate equipment such as excavators, bulldozers, loaders, cranes, graders, and forklifts.
Transport earth or other materials and assist in erecting and installing construction materials.
Lay down roadbeds and perform other essential construction tasks.
Maintain strict adnce to safety standards and regulations.
Inspect machines before and after operation, performing basic repairs as needed.
Operate heavy equipment from vehicles and trailers.
Ensure all machinery and tools are available and in proper working condition for the crew.
Conduct periodic inspections and maintenance of construction equipment and tools.
Maintain, clean, and properly storepany equipment, materials, and work sites.
Complete required paperwork, reporting, and other documentation accurately and on time.
Perform all other duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Skills:
5+ years of experience operating heavy equipment.
Strongmunication skills and ability to follow instructions.
Ability to read manuals, blues, and construction plans.
Team player with strong attention to detail.
Excellent hand-eye-foot coordination.
Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving skills.
Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) preferred.
