The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in operating various types of equipment, including Heavy tow Trucks and forklifts. This role requires a commitment to safety, efficiency, and customer service while performing tasks related to the operation, maintenance, and diagnostics of equipment. Responsibilities Operate and manage equipment such as forklifts and tow trucks safely and efficiently. Load and unload materials or vehicles as necessary, ensuring proper handling techniques are followed. Conduct routine inspections and perform basic automotive diagnostics to ensure equipment is in optimal working condition. Maintain accurate records of equipment usage, maintenance performed, and any incidents that occur during operation. Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and ensuring their needs are met during equipment operations. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and adherence to safety protocols. Assist in training new operators on equipment handling procedures and safety measures. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively. Experience operating tow trucks, forklifts, or similar heavy machinery. Proficiency in driving manual transmission vehicles is preferred. Ability to perform automotive diagnostics to identify potential issues with equipment. Previous experience in commercial driving is a plus. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members. A background in mechanics or related fields is advantageous. Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment. $25.00 – $30.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week

Schedule:

Monday to Friday Night shift On call Rotating weekends
