Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Hydrovac Operator to join our team. As a Hydrovac Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining hydrovac equipment to safely excavate soil and debris. This is a hands-on role that requires experience in heavy equipment operation and commercial driving.

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate hydrovac equipment to excavate soil and debris
• Follow project plans and blueprints to locate underground utilities
• Use hydrovac equipment to expose utilities for repairs or installations
• Operate heavy equipment such as dump trucks, loaders, and water trucks
• Perform routine maintenance on hydrovac equipment to ensure proper functioning
• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines at all times
• Communicate effectively with team members and project managers
• Complete necessary paperwork and documentation accurately

Requirements:

• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with tanker endorsement
• Proven experience in heavy equipment operation, including bulldozers, loaders, and dump trucks
• Familiarity with Caterpillar equipment is a plus
• Ability to read and interpret project plans and blueprints
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• Physical stamina to work in outdoor environments and lift heavy objects as needed
