Heavy Equipment Operator AP Dozer & Trackhoe Services, LLC Frierson, LA 71027 Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Equipment Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating various types of heavy machinery and equipment, ensuring efficient and safe operations on-site. This role is crucial for maintaining productivity and safety standards while performing tasks related to construction, maintenance, or agricultural projects. Responsibilities Operate heavy equipment such as backhoes, loaders, bulldozers, cranes, and tankers in a safe and efficient manner. Perform routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance. Dig trenches, move earth, and perform grading activities as required for various projects. Transport materials using water trucks or farm machinery as needed. Collaborate with team members to complete tasks in accordance with project timelines and specifications. Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment. Maintain accurate records of equipment usage and report any issues to the supervisor. Requirements Proven experience in heavy equipment operation, including but not limited to backhoe operation, loader operation, crane operation, and bulldozing. Familiarity with water trucks and farm machinery is a plus. Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) preferred but not mandatory. Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor tasks associated with equipment operation. Commitment to safety practices in all aspects of work.
