The pay rate is between $19
• 23 an hour depending on experience. The schedule is Monday
• Friday, 7:00 am
• 5:00 pm with flexibility and occasional overtime depending on project deadlines.

Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Heavy Equipment Operator to lead on-site excavation operations. This role involves operating heavy equipment—specifically trackhoes—as well as supervising crew members and documenting job site activity. The ideal candidate has strong experience in excavation and a solid understanding of wastewater infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate trackhoes to perform excavation and trenching for drainage and sewage repair projects Lead and direct a small team of field personnel on job sites Ensure safety protocols and procedures are always followed Complete daily work reports, job logs, and project documentation accurately Communicate effectively with supervisors, team members, and other departments Assist in identifying issues and proposing solutions related to infrastructure and equipment May be assigned other duties, as necessary.

Qualifications:

Proven experience operating trackhoes (2+ years preferred) Experience in excavation, particularly in wastewater, drainage, or sewage environments Ability to lead and motivate a small team in the field Strong written and verbal communication skills Bilingual (Spanish/ English) (Preferred) Able to pass a drug screening

Physical Requirements:

This position involves regular physical activity, including: Standing for prolonged periods. Frequent bending, kneeling, and crouching. Pushing and pulling heavy objects. Lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds.
