Heavy Equipment Operator B&D Contracting, Inc. Kenner, LA 70062
Duties:
- Operate various types of heavy equipment including roll off trucks, excavators, front end loaders, bulldozers, loaders, cranes, water trucks, and dump trucks.
- Perform tasks such as digging, building, grading, and moving materials using the equipment.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Conduct routine maintenance and inspections on the equipment to ensure proper functioning.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects safely, efficiently and effectively.
Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Proven experience operating heavy equipment such as excavators, roll off trucks, front loader trucks, bulldozers, front-end loaders, water trucks, and dump trucks.
- Ability to operate equipment safely and efficiently.
- Strong understanding of equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Physical stamina to withstand long hours of operating heavy machinery.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members.
