Utility Tech 3.9 3.9 out of 5 stars Minden, LA 71055 Responsible for the operation of a forklift while transporting materials throughout the facility. May be responsible for operating other motorized equipment according to work area.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Must be able to follow verbal and written instructions. Requires wearing personal protective gear, such as eyewear and steel-toed boots. Must be a certified equipment operator. Performs proper daily equipment safety checks prior to equipment operations and notifies the maintenance supervisor of any suspected problems. Follow proper procedure for equipment refueling operations. Obey company rules regarding safe and effective equipment operations. Performs proper daily equipment safety checks prior to equipment operations and notifies the maintenance supervisor of any suspected problems. Load and unload trucks Knows the layout of facilities and work areas. Transports material to designated areas throughout facilities. Load and unload sensitive electrical equipment. Transport oversized construction material.

SKILLS:

Basic math skills Ability to read a blueprint. Able to operate forklift. Ability to communicate effectively. Good judgment and attention to detail. Ability to read, comprehend and assimilate information. Ability to maintain satisfactory working relationships and interact effectively with all levels of employees.
