Our seasoned crews take pride in their professionalism, efficiency, and “go-get-it-done” attitude, and we are seeking a motivated Excavator Operator to add to our team for our projects in New Hampshire. What You’ll Do We are seeking a skilled and safety-focused Experienced Excavator Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in excavation, site preparation, trenching, grading, and material handling using various types of hydraulic excavators. The operator must be able to read site plans, work efficiently within a team, and ensure all work is performed to specification while maintaining a clean and safe jobsite. The Day-to-Day Operate excavators ranging in size (typically 5-45 ton) for commercial, and/or civil construction projects Perform excavation for foundations, utility installation (water, sewer, drainage), roadwork, and other sitework tasks Read and interpret site plans, blueprints, grade stakes, and verbal instruction. Work closely with foremen, grade checkers, and ground crew to maintain proper slope and depth. Conduct daily pre-operational inspections and basic maintenance of equipment. Maintain awareness of surroundings and underground/overhead hazards. Follow all safety protocols and OSHA regulations at all times. Assist with equipment loading/unloading and site cleanup as required What We’re Looking For Minimum 5 years of experience operating hydraulic excavators in a commercial construction environment. Proficiency with trenching, fine grading, and operating around utilities. Familiarity with GPS or laser-guided equipment is a plus. Strong understanding of jobsite safety and equipment limits. Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors in various weather conditions. Valid driver’s license required; CDL is a plus. Fast-paced construction sites with exposure to moving equipment, dust, and noise.
