The Dump Truck / Heavy Equipment Driver is responsible foroperating commercial vehicles and heavy machinery to transport anddispose of construction materials, debris, or waste. This roleinvolves safe vehicle operation, routine inspections, adherence tolocal traffic laws and environmental regulations, and performingminor maintenance as needed.
Qualifications:
Valid commercialdriver’s license (CDL – Class A or B, depending on vehicle).Previous experience operating dump trucks, roll-offs, or heavyequipment preferred. Ability to read maps and follow GPSdirections. Good physical condition; ability to lift 50 lbs andwork outdoors in various weather conditions. Attention to safetyand detail.
Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced CDLDump Truck / Heavy Equipment Operator to join our dynamic team. Inthis role, you will operate commercial vehicles and heavy machineryto safely transport and dispose of construction materials, debris,or waste. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with aCDL Class A or B , a safety mindset, and a background inconstruction, waste management, or flatbed driving.
KeyResponsibilities:
- Operate dump trucks, roll-off trucks, and otherheavy equipment for transporting materials such as dirt, gravel,demolition debris, or waste.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-tripinspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with DOTstandards.
- Load and unload materials using loaders, excavators,or similar equipment.
- Navigate efficiently using GPS and maps toensure timely pickups or deliveries.
- Communicate with dispatchersor site supervisors for scheduling and updates.
- Maintain accuratelogs and documentation in compliance with federal and companypolicies.
- Conduct basic maintenance and report mechanical issuesas needed.
- Comply with OSHA, DOT, and all company safety policiesat all times.
Requirements:
- Valid CDL Class A or B license.
- Experience operating dump trucks, roll-off trucks or heavyequipment.
- K nowledge of DOT regulations and safe drivingpractices.
- Physical ability to lift 50 lbs and work outdoors invarious weather conditions.
- Clean driving record and currentproof of liability insurance.
- Ability to pass a DOTpre-employment drug screening and participate in a random testingprogram as required by federal law.
