Role:
The Overnight Tugger Operator plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the logistics and material handling processes within the Canton facility. This position is responsible for transporting materials and components to various production areas, thereby supporting the overall manufacturing workflow. The operator will work during the overnight shift, ensuring that all necessary supplies are available for the day shift operations. Attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols are paramount, as the operator will be navigating through busy areas while handling heavy loads. Ultimately, the success of this role directly impacts production efficiency and contributes to the overall success of the organization.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Valid driver’s license and ability to operate tugger vehicles.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment. Familiarity with material handling equipment and safety protocols.
Responsibilities:
Operate tugger vehicles to transport materials and components to designated areas within the facility. Conduct pre-operation inspections of tugger vehicles to ensure safety and functionality. Maintain accurate records of materials transported and report any discrepancies to the supervisor. Collaborate with team members and other departments to ensure timely delivery of materials. Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies while operating equipment.
