Heavy Equipment Operator/Laborer ZA Construction LLC Mendenhall, MS 39114 •No Third Party Recruitment agency is needed for this position•Job Summary ZA Construction is looking for Heavy Equipment Operator. Salary is commensurate with experience. Must be able to work Monday – Friday (full-time and some overtime) and be available to work on weekends/holidays when necessary. Must be able to travel out of state (transportation provided). Duties/Responsibilities Operates construction, excavation, hauling, and maintenance equipment including backhoes, front-end loaders, bulldozers, track dumps, off road dumps, motor graders, material handling trucks, grapples and excavators safely. Must be able work in harsh weather conditions as well as rough terrain. Must be physically able to climb on and under railroad cars or other equipment. Knows and adheres to all safety guidelines of heavy machinery operation. Routine pre-trip inspection of equipment. Performs routine maintenance and repairs Responsible for the safe operation and upkeep of all equipment on site. Must be able to lift a minimum of 50lbs. Requires Clean MVR, Requires pre-employment Background check and Drug Screen. Perform other duties as assigned. Education and Experience Must be highly dependable and available for emergency calls. CDL Class A License a plus! Extensive knowledge of heavy machinery operation and capabilities. Railroad Experience ( preferred) Salary is commensurate with experience.
