Equipment Operator King Land Clearing Columbus County, NC Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Equipment Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in operating various types of heavy machinery on construction sites, including but not limited to dump trucks, bulldozers, and loaders. This role requires a strong mechanical knowledge and the ability to perform tasks efficiently while ensuring safety standards are met. Responsibilities Operate heavy equipment such as dump trucks, bulldozers, and loaders to complete construction projects. Perform site preparation tasks including digging, paving, and moving materials as required. Conduct routine maintenance checks on equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety. Collaborate with team members to coordinate tasks and ensure project timelines are met. Follow all safety protocols and regulations while operating machinery on construction sites. Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency. Qualifications Proven experience in heavy equipment operation, particularly with Caterpillar machinery. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot minor equipment issues. Valid commercial driving license preferred but not mandatory. Ability to work in various weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment. 10 hour shift 8 hour shift Monday to Friday Weekends as needed
