is seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team in the Triangle area. The ideal candidate will have 2 to 5 years of experience operating heavy equipment and machinery, with a focus on Underground Utility Construction, Water, Sewer and Storm Drain installation.
- Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain various types of heavy equipment such as mainline excavator, front-end loader and various other equipment as needed.
- Perform tasks including digging mainline trench for Water, Sewer and Storm Drain, setting pipe, setting structures, unloading, loading and lifting on various construction sites.
- Ensure equipment is operated in a safe and efficient manner at all times.
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure proper functioning.
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines while operating machinery.
- Experience
- 2 to 5 years previous experience in Water, Sewer and Underground Utility Construction and installation.
- Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor issues with equipment.
- Familiarity with construction site operations and safety.
- Ability to operate a variety of equipment efficiently and safely.
- Strong communication skills to coordinate with team members on-site.
