Heavy Equipment Operator Ace Construction Enterprises Canton, NC 28716 Job Overview Must have experience operating heavy equipment in mountainous terrain. We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Heavy Construction Equipment Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in operating various types of heavy grading equipment and a strong understanding of heavy equipment maintenance. This role is crucial for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of equipment on-site, contributing to the overall success of our projects. Responsibilities Operate heavy construction equipment including bulldozers, excavators, tracked loaders, to perform various tasks such as digging, loading, and transporting materials. Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on heavy construction equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety. Safely operate heavy construction equipment at all times. Collaborate with team members to coordinate equipment usage and ensure timely project completion. Follow all safety protocols and regulations while operating heavy construction equipment to maintain a safe work environment. Assist in training new operators on heavy construction equipment, and safety procedures as needed. Requirements Proven experience in heavy construction equipment operation, including but not limited to bulldozers, excavators, tracked loaders, other types of heavy equipment. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot minor issues with heavy construction equipment. Ability to read blueprints and understand site plans for effective operation of equipment. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. A valid driver’s license is required; additional certifications for specific equipment operation may be preferred. Commitment to safety practices and procedures in all aspects of work.
