Heavy Equipment Operator GLO Resources LLC Sanford, NC 27331 GLO Resources is currently hiring experienced Heavy Equipment Operators in Sanford, NC . The pay rate is between $18-$25 per hour, depending on experience. The schedule is Monday-Friday, 8-10 hour shifts with occasional overtime. Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Operator for a wastewater construction company. This role involves the safe and efficient use of equipment such as excavators, front-end loaders, backhoes, and skid steers to perform tasks such as trenching, pipe installation, grading, and site preparation, in compliance with environmental and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate heavy equipment including bulldozers, excavators, skid steers, loaders, and graders Perform pre-operation inspections and routine maintenance to ensure equipment is in safe working condition. Follow safety protocols and comply with OSHA regulations and company safety policies. May be assigned other duties as necessary.
Qualifications:
MUST HAVE AT LEAST 2 YEARS EXPERIENCE OPERATING A 336 EXCAVATOR AND 938 FRONT END LOADER
Proven experience operating heavy equipment (2+ years preferred). Strong understanding of construction site safety protocols. High school Diploma or Equivalent Valid Driver’s License Must successfully pass a drug screen prior to employment.
Physical Requirements:
This position involves regular physical activity, including: Standing for prolonged periods. Frequent bending, kneeling, and crouching. Pushing and pulling heavy objects. Lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds.
