The ideal candidate will have extensive experience operating excavators and other heavy machinery on construction sites. This role is crucial for ensuring the efficient and safe completion of various excavation projects. The Excavator Operator will work closely with other team members to maintain a high standard of workmanship while adhering to safety protocols. Responsibilities Operate excavators and other heavy equipment, including bulldozers, backhoes, and dump trucks, to complete excavation tasks. Perform site preparation, including grading, trenching, and backfilling as per project specifications. Collaborate with site supervisors and crew members to ensure project timelines are met. Conduct regular inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety. Safely transport materials using water trucks and tankers when necessary. Assist in horizontal drilling operations as required by project demands. Follow all safety regulations and protocols to maintain a safe working environment. Document daily activities and report any issues or concerns to management. Qualifications Proven experience as an Excavator Operator or in a similar role within the construction industry. Strong mechanical knowledge of heavy equipment operation and maintenance. Familiarity with various types of heavy machinery including bulldozers, water trucks, backhoes, tankers, and dump trucks. Ability to read blueprints and understand project specifications. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Valid commercial driving license (CDL) is preferred but not mandatory. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to safety standards. Schedule:

10 hour shift 12 hour shift 8 hour shift Monday to Friday Weekends as needed Application Question(s): Are you able to operate additional heavy equipment such as bulldozers, backhoes, or dump trucks? Do you have at least 2 years of experience operating excavators on construction sites? This position is a temporary assignment lasting 6-7 months. Are you able to work a temporary assignment?
