Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Heavy Equipment Operator to join our construction team in Sneads Ferry, NC. This role is perfect for someone with hands-on experience in site grading and operating skid steers and mini excavators . Work is local, with no long-distance travel required.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate mini excavators and skid steers efficiently and safely Perform site grading and other construction-related tasks Follow safety protocols and work closely with construction foreman and team Perform daily equipment inspections and light maintenance as needed
Skills & Experience Required:
3-5 years of experience operating heavy construction equipment Experience working as a construction equipment operator or construction foreman Strong knowledge of safe operating procedures
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Able to push, pull, bend, stoop, and crouch throughout the workday
