Foreman, Superintendent Summary:
Excavator operators drive and control heavy construction equipment.
Responsibilities:
Including but not limited to: Operates track hoe. Moves dirt from borrow areas and loads trucks. Grades to line and grades from reference points. Performs digging, trenching, and excavating operations. May oil, grease, service, and make normal operating adjustments to equipment. May perform other related duties.
Qualifications:
High school diploma is an asset Entry-level work under an experienced excavator operator Training and experience with an excavator Mechanical aptitude and having an eye for detail Able to read blueprint or other schematics Able to communicate with others Able to follow safety regulations on the job Be a team player
