• We are seeking small machine operators and drivers to work on erosion control teams throughout the Raleigh area. Starting pay is based on previous demonstrated experience. We offer steady year-round work and weekly pay.

Responsibilities:

Assist with various construction tasks such as installing and/or repairing various erosion control devices, including silt fence, silt fence outlets, temporary driveways, tree protection fence, seed & straw, and erosion control matting. Follow instructions from supervisors and team members to complete assigned tasks. Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Adhere to all safety guidelines and regulations on the job site. •

Qualifications:

Pass a two-hour equipment operator test. The test period will be paid. All tests must be conducted at our warehouse M-F after 5PM. Must be proficient in loading, unloading, trenching, backfilling, and working on a slope. Ability to follow instructions and work well in a team environment. Strong work ethic and willingness to learn new skills. Physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor for extended periods. Basic knowledge of hand and power tools. Ability to lift heavy objects and work in various weather conditions. Reliable transportation.
