Site Foreman Position Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and physically fit Excavator Operator to join our team on a portable aggregate crushing plant. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating heavy machinery, performing maintenance tasks, lubrication, and clean-up duties to ensure efficient and safe operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Excavator Operation:

Operate excavators to load aggregate materials into the crushing plant, ensuring optimal productivity and safety.

Maintenance:

Perform routine maintenance on the excavator and other equipment, including checking fluid levels, inspecting parts, and making minor repairs as needed.

Lubrication:

Apply lubricants to machinery components to reduce wear and tear and ensure smooth operation.

Clean-Up:

Maintain cleanliness of the worksite by removing debris, cleaning equipment, and ensuring a clean and safe working environment.

Safety Compliance:

Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to prevent accidents and injuries.

Reporting:

Document and report any issues or malfunctions to the Site Foreman promptly.

Team Collaboration:

Work closely with other team members to coordinate tasks and ensure efficient workflow.

Qualifications:

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years of experience operating excavators, preferably in a crushing plant environment.

Physical Fitness:

Must be physically fit and able to perform strenuous tasks, including lifting heavy objects and working in various weather conditions.

Technical Skills:

Knowledge of heavy machinery maintenance and lubrication practices.

Safety Awareness:

Strong understanding of safety protocols and procedures.

Communication Skills:

Effective verbal communication skills.

Problem-Solving:

Ability to troubleshoot and resolve minor mechanical issues.

Outdoor work in various weather conditions.

Frequent travel to different job sites as required.

Hours:
