PURPOSE OF THE JOB
Safely and efficiently performs a variety of duties within PBV’s warehouse operations to support both internal and external customers and meet business goals and demands. Duties will include pulling, loading, unloading, sorting, staging, stacking, building pallets, wrapping, transporting, counting, performing quality control checks, dumping, rework, replenishing, and otherwise handling of PBV products, raw materials, packaging, and other warehouse goods and materials.

RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES
Job Duties:
Efficiently and safely move trailers in the yard with good backing skills. Perform daily switcher checks for maintenance issues. Checking trailers and docks for any safety concerns. Communicate across all departments using a 2-way radio. Ensure the yard and lots are neat and organized. Safe and efficient Operation of various warehouse material handling and material moving equipment in order to store, stage, retrieve, replenish, load or unload product and materials in designated areas or onto automatic conveyors or onto trailers for shipment. Performing all required safety and pre-trip checks on assigned machinery. Perform janitorial tasks as necessary in designated work area. Other duties as assigned. Other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma or GED is preferred. Must be able to pass the forklift skills assessment and safely operate PBV Material Handling Equipment. At least six (6) months of Forklift experience preferred. Computer/Human Machine Interface skills. Mechanical aptitude. Good math, reading, writing, and communication skills. Sorting and grouping skills. Must be able to read and understand the difference in product labels and load ticket instructions. Must be able to count large quantities of products and materials. Must be able to read/hear and understand procedures for performing work. Must be able to work in a warehouse environment that is not climate controlled with exposure to hot/humid or cold weather conditions.
ESSENTIAL MENTAL AND PHYSICAL FUNCTIONS
Mental Functions Repetitive and fast paced work for prolonged periods of time requiring frequent mental or visual effort or alertness. Physical Functions Constantly (67%-100%) required to lift up to 50 pounds. Occasionally (0%-33%%) required to sit, read, climb, reach, kneel, bend, push, crawl, reach, pull cases of product, walk, and stand.
EQUIPMENT USED
Yard switcher, tractors & trailers, dock plates, bay doors, floor scrubber, walkie-rider, forklift (single and double), palletizer, wrapper, HSPA Claw, cardboard baler, automated conveyors, paper and pen, dump bins, telephone, radios, screens, lights, and buzzers.

None required.
