Excavator Operator – Pipe Crew LaMontagne Builders, Inc Nashua, NH We are hiring an experienced Excavator Operator to join our pipe crew. This roll requires good communication skills with the team in the team in the trench to efficiently install a variety of underground utilities in a residential setting. If you’re reliable, safety-focused, and ready to work hard as part of a team, we want to hear from you.
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required
Skills & Requirements:
Proven experience operating excavators in underground utility or pipe installation Ability to read and follow grade stakes or verbal instruction for trench depth and alignment, GPS experience preferred. Comfortable working in adverse weather conditions Able to work safely around live utilities Must follow all safety protocols and wear required PPE (hard hat, boots, hearing protection, etc.) Ability to perform basic maintenance and pre-checks on equipment Valid driver’s license
Responsibilities:
Previous experience installing water, sewer, storm, and other utility lines preferred Support pipe crew with safe trenching and backfilling operations Work closely with foreman and crew to meet project specs and deadlines Maintain safe working distances and proper slopes as required by OSHA standards Perform general laborer duties when equipment is not in use All applicants will be asked to demonstrate their skill with an excavator as part of the interview process. #hc169448
