The ideal candidate will have experience operating excavators and other heavy machinery on construction sites. This candidate should know how to read blueprints and lay pipe. This role is crucial for the successful completion of various projects, including digging, grading, and site preparation. The Excavator Operator will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of equipment while adhering to all safety protocols. Duties Operate excavators and other heavy machinery such as bulldozers, and loaders on construction sites. Perform digging and grading tasks to prepare sites for construction. Collaborate with site supervisors and other team members to ensure project timelines are met. Follow safety guidelines and protocols to minimize risks on the job site. Assist in loading and unloading materials as needed. Requirements Proven experience as an Excavator Operator or in a similar role within the construction industry. Familiarity with commercial driving regulations is preferred. Ability to work in various weather conditions and physically demanding environments. A valid driver’s license is required; commercial driving certification is a plus. Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team setting.
