Lumper Full Steam Staffing 11 Executive Avenue, Edison, NJ 08817 Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Lumper to join our warehouse team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the loading and unloading of goods, ensuring that products are handled safely and efficiently. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to operate various types of heavy equipment. The Lumper will play a crucial role in maintaining the flow of operations within the warehouse. Responsibilities Load and unload products from trucks and containers with care to prevent damage. Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts, cherry pickers, and clamp trucks safely and efficiently. Perform order picking tasks using RF scanners to ensure accurate inventory management. Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to maintain an organized and efficient workspace. Follow all safety protocols, including OSHA regulations, to ensure a safe working environment. Assist in the movement of goods throughout the warehouse as needed. Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning. Skills Proficiency in order picking techniques and practices. Experience operating heavy equipment including forklifts, cranes, and clamp trucks. Familiarity with RF scanners for inventory tracking. Strong understanding of safety regulations (OSHA) related to warehouse operations. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Good physical stamina for lifting heavy loads and standing for extended periods. Excellent teamwork skills with a focus on collaboration and communication.
