Seasonal Snow Heavy Equipment Operator – Experience Required Custom Landscaping and Lawn Care Township of Monroe, NJ 08831 Seasonal Snow Heavy Equipment Operator Old Bridge, NJ Are you an experienced heavy equipment operator looking for seasonal work during the winter months? We’re seeking skilled and reliable Heavy Equipment Operators to join our team for the upcoming snow removal season in Old Bridge, NJ and the 5 counties surrounding it. In this role, you’ll be responsible for safely and efficiently operating various heavy equipment, including front-end loaders, backhoes and or skid steers , to clear snow and ice from roadways, parking lots, and other designated areas. Your work will be crucial in ensuring safe and accessible conditions for our clients during winter weather events.

Responsibilities:

Operate heavy equipment in a safe and efficient manner to perform snow and ice removal. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of equipment, reporting any mechanical issues. Work closely with area manager and others on site performing snow clearing operations. Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies. Work independently or as part of a team to complete snow removal routes. Be available for on-call shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, based on weather conditions. Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.

Qualifications:

Proven experience operating heavy equipment for snow removal (e.g., front-end loaders, plows in winter weather conditions). Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. Ability to work in challenging winter weather conditions, including extreme cold, snow, and ice. Strong understanding of heavy equipment operation and safety procedures. Ability to perform physical tasks, including climbing, lifting, and shoveling, as needed. Reliable and punctual, with a strong work ethic.
