Operador de montacargas Vald Staffing Pedricktown, NJ 08067 Overview We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Operador de montacargas to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating forklifts and other material handling equipment in a fast-paced distribution center environment. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to perform heavy lifting as needed. Responsibilities Operate forklifts and clamp trucks for efficient loading and unloading of materials. Handle materials safely and efficiently throughout the distribution center. Perform order picking tasks to ensure accurate fulfillment of customer orders. Conduct regular inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and compliance with OSHA standards. Assist in maintaining a clean and organized work area. Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and productivity. Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor equipment issues as they arise. Requirements Proven experience in materials handling, particularly in a distribution center setting. Ability to perform heavy lifting and maneuver loads safely. Familiarity with OSHA regulations and safety practices related to forklift operation. Experience with crane operation is a plus. Proficient in operating forklifts, clamp trucks, and other material handling equipment. Strong mechanical knowledge for basic maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment. Excellent attention to detail with a focus on accuracy in order picking tasks. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
