Negotiable employment type: experience level: mid level job title: Excavator Operator Currently looking for a reliable and experienced Excavator Operator. Involves handling heavy equipment to dig, move, and level earth or similar materials at active job sites.

Primary Duties:

• Operate excavators to carry out digging, trenching, site leveling, and related ground work.
• Use machinery to relocate soil, gravel, and debris as needed for project completion.
• Excavate foundations, utility lines, and clear areas according to provided specifications and plans.
• Review and follow construction drawings, site layouts, and work instructions to ensure accurate execution.
• Assist with material loading/unloading and manage disposal or relocation of excavated materials.
• Work closely with site leads and crew members to coordinate job tasks and meet project deadlines.

Qualifications:

• At least 5 years of hands-on experience operating excavators in a construction setting.
• Solid understanding of excavation processes, machinery operation, and job site safety standards.
• Ability to interpret construction drawings and job site instructions with accuracy.
• Comfortable working in a variety of weather conditions and on physically demanding terrain.
• Self-motivated, dependable, and able to take direction with minimal supervision.
