Job Description
Heavy Equipment Operator/Laborer New Heitz Site Services 8644 Buffalo Avenue, Niagara Falls, NY 14304 We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing various tasks that support our operations, ensuring a safe and efficient work environment. This role requires physical labor, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with others. •This position will hold a variety of responsibilities from maintaining the shop, general labor work (shoveling, racking, etc) on job sites, basic equipment operating (willing to teach), loading up customers at shop, and various other random task. Duties Assist in the loading and unloading of materials and equipment. Perform general maintenance tasks, including cleaning work areas and tools. Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a secure work environment. Operate basic hand tools and machinery as needed. Support skilled tradespeople in their tasks, providing assistance as required. General labor duties on jobsites Operating basic heavy equipment (willing to teach) Requirements Previous experience in a labor-intensive role is preferred but not mandatory. Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and perform physically demanding tasks. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work. Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team. Basic knowledge of safety practices in a labor setting is advantageous.
