opening for an

EXPERIENCED

Loader Operator/Laborer who is responsible for the movement of materials & Maintenance. The Loader Operator maintains diesel equipment operation by completing inspections and preventive maintenance requirements; correcting vehicle deficiencies; making adjustments and alignments; keeping records.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Operates Equipment Loads trucks with loader. projects – helping around the yard as needed. Inspect, repair, monitor, aid, clean, lubricate, operate, fabricate, maintain, and or regulate machinery and equipment necessary for company production and safety. Mandatory travel, sometimes with little notice. Able to weld, fabricate, erect and or build structures. Lay out, assembles, installs, and maintains pipe systems and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment, and repairs and replaces gauges, valves, pressure regulators, and related Dismantles defective machines and equipment and installs new or Helps determines vehicle condition by conducting inspections and diagnostic tests; identifying worn and damaged parts. Helps keep equipment available for use by completing preventive maintenance schedules; installing component and part upgrades; controlling corrosion; completing winterization procedures. Helps to correct vehicle deficiencies Verifies vehicle performance by conducting test drives; adjusting controls and systems. Complies with federal and state vehicle requirements by testing engine, safety, and combustion control standards. Maintains vehicle appearance by cleaning, washing, and painting. Helps head mechanic with repairs and diagnosis. Contains costs by using warranty; evaluating service and parts options. Keeps supplies ready by inventorying stock; placing orders; verifying receipt. Maintains a safe and clean workshop. Follows company safety policy. Comply with all company policies and procedures. Comply with MSHA regulations.

Qualifications:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Preferably familiar with diesel trucks, engines, heavy equipment, transmissions, tires, mechanisms, completing paper work, manufacturing plants.
