Compensation:
Commission-based pay: Earn based on the volume and difficulty of jobs you complete. The more you work, the more you earn.
Guaranteed minimum:
You’ll receive a weekly guaranteed base pay for financial stability — even during slow weeks. Performance bonuses may apply for on-call shifts, after-hours work, or specialized recoveries.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate heavy-duty wreckers to tow or recover large commercial vehicles, equipment, and tractor-trailers. Handle emergency roadside calls in all weather and traffic conditions. Maintain communication with dispatch throughout jobs. Complete recovery reports and submit job documentation in a timely manner. Adhere to all safety regulations and company protocols. Perform pre-trip/post-trip inspections and basic upkeep of assigned equipment.
Requirements:
CDL Class A or B license with clean MVR (required). 2+ years’ experience operating heavy-duty wreckers or comparable equipment (preferred). Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of towing best practices. Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays on a rotating schedule. Must pass drug screen and background check.
