The ideal candidate will have experience operating heavy machinery and a strong understanding of excavation processes. This role is crucial for ensuring the safe and efficient completion of various construction projects. The Excavator Operator will work closely with other team members to execute tasks related to site preparation, grading, and material handling. Duties Operating Excavator /
Wheel Loader:
Operating excavators and/or Wheel Loader to dig, excavate, and push garbage and materials.
Ensuring specifications:
Ensuring work is completed to specification.
Safety:
Maintaining a safe working environment and following safety regulations.
Communication:
Communicating effectively with other workers and supervisors.
Equipment inspections:
Performing daily equipment inspections and reporting any malfunctions. Experience Proven experience in heavy equipment operation, particularly with excavators and related machinery. Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively. Familiarity with commercial driving regulations is preferred. Experience in operating bulldozers, backhoes, loaders, and Caterpillar machinery is a plus. Ability to work in various weather conditions and adapt to changing job site requirements.
