Excavator Operator/Generalist Neighbors Property Management Doylestown, PA 18902 Overview We are seeking a skilled Excavator Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating heavy machinery to assist in various construction and excavation projects. This role requires a strong understanding of heavy equipment operation and the ability to work effectively by themselves and in a team environment. The Excavator Operator will play a crucial role in building, paving, and digging tasks on job sites, ensuring that projects are completed safely and efficiently. Responsibilities Operate excavators and other heavy equipment, including backhoes and skid steers, to perform excavation tasks. Collaborate with team members to plan and execute excavation projects according to specifications. Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure proper functioning. Follow safety protocols and guidelines while operating machinery on-site. Communicate effectively with site supervisors and other operators regarding project progress and any issues that arise. Mobilize equipment to and from sites. May be required to preform some labor and machine maintenance to help with team functions Experience Experience running construction equipment or willing to learn – primarily excavators and skid steers. Familiarity with commercial driving regulations. CDL is not required but must be willing to obtain. Mechanical knowledge is a plus for troubleshooting equipment issues. Ability to work in various weather conditions and adapt to changing job site environments. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards.
