Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Dozer Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in operating heavy equipment. This role is essential for ensuring the smooth operation of our projects.

Essential Functions:

Operate heavy equipment in a safe and effective manner in order to minimize the risk of injury, property damage, or loss of life. Wear personal protective equipment. Perform daily safety and maintenance checks/procedures per operator’s manual. Ensure compliance with company quality control standards and procedures. Complete required paperwork. Communicate with Superintendent concerning equipment and job-related problems. Exercise proper care and maintenance of company equipment. Frequently work more than 40 hours per week and stay out of town if resident is greater than 50 miles from location of job site Perform additional assignments per supervisor’s direction. Working in adverse weather conditions such as rain, snow, heat and cold.

Knowledge of:

OSHA safe trenching regulations. Trenching safety Utility installation. Heavy construction equipment operation. Occupational hazards and safety precautions of the trade. Construction operations. Basic and routine construction drawings, blueprints, sketches, diagrams and specifications. Soils, aggregate fill materials, bases, proper mixing and compacting techniques. Using Trimble GPS is a plus but not a requirement.

Qualifications:

Must be prompt, reliable and dependable with work schedule Must have a valid driver’s license Must have 5 years’ experience in operating heavy equipment

Wages and Benefits:

Operators will be paid the prevailing wage per job site.
