Heavy Equipment Operator/Laborer Premier Concrete, Inc. Broomall, PA 19008 Job Summary Operate heavy construction equipment to excavate, grade, and prepare work areas for general construction projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating various types of heavy machinery and equipment to ensure the efficient and safe completion of projects. This role requires a strong understanding of equipment operation, safety protocols, maintenance procedures and perform manual labor as needed. Duties Operate heavy equipment such as backhoes, loaders, excavators and skid steers in a safe and efficient manner. Perform routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance. Follow all safety regulations and protocols while operating machinery to minimize risks on the job site. Maintain accurate records of equipment usage and report any issues or malfunctions to supervisors. Perform additional assignments per supervisor’s direction. Skills Proficient in heavy equipment operation with hands-on experience in backhoe, loader, excavator and skid steers. Strong knowledge of commercial driving regulations and practices. Ability to perform basic maintenance tasks on various types of machinery. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Requirements Proven experience in equipment operation, particularly with loaders, bulldozers, dump trucks. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to diagnose and resolve equipment issues.
