This position requires the operation of heavy equipment in order to achieve daily production goals. Qualifications Must be proficient at operating Heavy Equipment (Excavator, Bulldozer) to complete a variety of tasks (bulk excavation, loading trucks, fine grade work, trenching, backfilling, and etc.) Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to perform routine maintenance (inspections, greasing, fueling) A willingness to occasionally work long hours, atypical hours or weekends Strong initiative (self-starter), problem-solving and communication skills, and attention to detail Valid Driver’s license Responsibilities Operate equipment in a professional and safe manner Responsible for the maintenance and inspection of provided equipment Must be willing to travel to project sites that may include out of town projects Be able to take instructions from supervision on site and carry out tasks as instructed unsupervised with safety in mind
