Summary We are seeking an Equipment Operator to join our dynamic team at Befesa Zinc US. In this role, you will operate various heavy equipment to support our recycling operations, ensuring efficiency and safety while contributing to our mission of sustainability. This position is based in the United States. Working a 2-2-3 schedule. Responsibilities Operate heavy equipment including front loaders, dump trucks, and backhoes safely and efficiently. Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment to ensure optimal performance. Assist in loading and unloading materials for recycling processes. Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment. Collaborate with team members to achieve operational goals and efficiency. Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to supervisors promptly. Requirements Proven experience operating heavy equipment in an industrial setting. Strong knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in equipment operation. Ability to perform routine maintenance on machinery as needed. Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team. High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications are a plus.
